Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical assistant diploma and certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a medical practice preferred.
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification from AHA required.
• Active MA certification/registry from a national certifying organization required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify insurance information.
• Perform clinical tasks: specimen collection, injections/vaccines, vital signs, patient history.
• Enter information into state database; assist with exams and practice procedures.
• Relate instructions to patients and support providers and staff.
• Follow IMG workflow and participate in daily practice huddles; may cover other IMG offices as needed.
