Job summary

Inspira Health in Sicklerville, NJ is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to perform clinical and clerical duties, greet patients, verify insurance, collect specimens, and assist providers during exams and procedures.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, Medical Assistant diploma with national certification, 1 year of medical practice experience, Phlebotomy and EKG skills, and CPR/BLS. EHR experience preferred; willingness to cover other IMG offices as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical assistant diploma and certification from an accredited vocational institution or community college required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a Medical Practice preferred.
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with drug administration, specifically with vaccine and medication injections preferred.
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience preferred.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification or Registry required from one of the recognized certifying organizations (AAMA/NHA/NCCT/AMCA/NAHP/NCMA/AMT).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify/enter insurance information.
• Perform specimen collection, injections/vaccines, and assist with exams as per guidelines.
• Relay instructions to patients and maintain professional patient relations.
• Follow IMG workflow and participate in daily practice huddles.
• Cover other IMG offices as needed based on staffing.
• Maintain timely completion of delegated tasks with accuracy.
