Qualifications

• Ability to follow or provide verbal & written instructions with sufficient grammar and spelling.
• Interpersonal skills to support customer service, team needs.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic to intermediate computer operation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for this position; HIPAA guidelines understood.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a patient advocate during patient exam and treatment.
• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs.
• Prepare patients for physician in exam, procedure, or surgery.
• Record medical history, medications, allergies, and test results in records.
• Obtain consent forms prior to treatment and prepare rooms.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician.
