Job summary

Grand River Health in Parachute, CO is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care in a clinic setting. You will intake patients, document vitals, update the EMR, assist with exams, prepare rooms, and ensure infection control while supporting clinic operations.

We seek a CMA or RMA preferred with 0–3 years’ experience and current AHA BLS within 3 months. High school diploma required. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• CMA or RMA preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS within 3 months of hire and maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, document vital signs, and update the EMR.
• Assist providers with exams, treatments, procedures, diagnostics, medications, immunizations, and specimen collection.
• Prepare examination rooms, operate equipment, and maintain infection control standards.
• Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, patient calls, education, and communication within scope of practice.
• Support quality improvement, data organization, and clinic initiatives for patient outcomes and Rural Health Clinic reimbursement.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical practices, public health, infection control, and policies.
• Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and flexibility to support clinic operations.
• Perform a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
