Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the care team in an ambulatory clinic setting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role involves assisting providers, greeting patients, and helping ensure a compassionate patient experience.

You will take vitals, record medical histories, assist during exams, administer vaccines as directed, perform lab tasks, and document care in the EHR, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• An approved accredited Medical Assistant diploma or 2 years of MA experience satisfies the qualification.

Responsabilités

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm.
• Support providers, connect with patients and ensure a seamless, compassionate experience.
• Welcome patients and support transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab tasks and collect specimens.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and teammates to deliver coordinated care.
