Advocate Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support the ambulatory care team at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. You will perform clinical and administrative tasks, take vitals, prepare patients, and assist providers to ensure a compassionate, efficient patient experience.

Requirements include a medical assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience or MA certification with 2 years experience, plus a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience or be a certified MA with 2 years MA experience.
• Must maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsabilités

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
