Job summary

Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch in Bradenton, FL is seeking a dependable Med Tech to provide medication management and personal care to residents according to each service plan and physician orders. You will safely administer medications, observe changes, maintain documentation, and work with the care team to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of caregiving experience, state HHA or CNA certification, and preferably some supervisory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of caregiving or similar experience.
• State-required HHA certification or CNA license.
• At least 6 months of supervisory experience in a health-related field preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication management and personal care according to each resident's service plan and physician orders.
• Safely administer medications and follow the MAR.
• Observe and communicate changes in residents' conditions to the clinical team, families, and medical professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all medication, care, HIPAA, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with Med Techs and care team to ensure high-quality care.
• Assist with meals, including serving, clearing, and maintaining a welcoming dining environment.
• Support and provide direction to team members during shifts as appropriate.
• Maintain all required state certifications, training, and ongoing education.
• Follow quality improvement standards and identify opportunities to improve resident care and services.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for residents and teammates.
