Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications safely, accurately, and with dignity. You will administer meds, follow the Six Rights, document in MAR/TAR in real time, observe residents during and after passes, and monitor symptoms for relief.

This role emphasizes regulatory compliance, infection control, and meticulous organization of carts and rooms, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
