A skilled nursing facility in Springfield, Missouri is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) who will provide essential resident care and support. Qualifications

• Must pass a state-issued exam.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered by a physician under supervision.
• Observes for reactions and reports to a licensed nurse.
• Answers resident call lights and anticipates resident’s needs.

Skills

Effective communication with residents

Basic computer knowledge

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Valid certification as a CMT
