Job summary

Ativo-Senior-Living-of-Prescott-Valle is seeking a Medication Coordinator (AL) to administer medications, monitor residents’ health, and document care for Assisted Living residents. You will coordinate schedules, maintain records, and ensure safe medication handling.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, prior caregiving experience, excellent English communication, and strong organization to support a compassionate, compliant care team and uphold resident dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare settings, preferably as a medication aide or medication technician.
• Exceptional communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medication administration schedules for residents according to prescribed dosages and timing.
• Ensure accurate documentation of medication distribution and residents’ medication lists.
• Monitor medication storage and inventory levels, coordinating refills and supplies.
• Ensure safety protocols to protect residents’ safety.
• Monitor residents’ health and communicate changes to leadership.
• Collaborate with care team to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
