Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg unit in Wilmington, NC. You will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to adults with various medical and surgical needs, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to drive positive outcomes. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, valid RN license in the state, BLS, and ongoing CEUs.

One year of relevant experience is expected, with a day schedule from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
RN licensure in appropriate state required.
American Heart Association BLS.
Annual CEUs as defined by NCBON.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adult medical/surgical patients.
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
Administer medications and treatments and monitor patient changes.
Prioritize care and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced setting.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and outcomes.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans.
Maintain safety and adhere to hospital policies and standards.
