Job summary

Community Action Partnership Belknap-Merrimack Counties in Franklin seeks a part-time Meals on Wheels Driver to deliver daily meals and perform wellness checks for seniors and eligible adults.

You’ll pick up meals, deliver them on a reliable schedule, and document routes, times and any needs reported by participants. The role requires a valid driver's license, good driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry out deliveries safely.
• Punctual, dependable and courteous with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily meals and perform wellness checks for senior citizens and eligible adults.
• Pick up meals from the site and assist with packing if requested.
• Maintain accurate route slips, timesheets and odometer records.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and safety of food delivery equipment.
• Report participant needs to supervisor and collect donation envelopes weekly.
• Adhere to all program policies and safety procedures.
