Job summary

Community Action Partnership Belknap-Merrimack Counties is seeking a Meals on Wheels Driver substitute in Bradford. You will deliver meals, perform wellness checks, and help with meal packing as needed.

The role requires a valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Hours vary and you’ll support our senior participants with timely, compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• Maintain professional boundaries with clients; confidentiality.
• Ability to organize efficient route plans and meet time constraints for hot meals.
• Punctual, dependable, courteous and personable.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily meals and perform wellness checks to homes of senior citizens and eligible adults.
• Pick up meals from the program site and assist in meal packing if requested.
• Report safety, environmental or social service needs to supervisor; complete timesheets and odometer sheets.
• Maintain cleanliness of delivery equipment and sanitary conditions in the vehicle.
• Keep route slips updated and communicate changes to supervisor in writing and verbally.
