Job summary

Community Action Partnership of Belknap-Merrimack Counties (CAPBM) is seeking a part‑time Meals on Wheels Driver in Suncook to deliver daily meals and conduct wellness checks for seniors and eligible adults.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a friendly, dependable demeanor. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 20 hours per week. CAPBM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalency.
• Experience: Maintaining professional boundaries with clients; confidentiality of clients and coworkers.
• Skills: Organize efficient route plans; work under time constraints of hot food delivery.
• Characteristics: Punctual, dependable, courteous.
• Technical: Valid driver’s license and good driving record; reliable transportation.
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, wash coolers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily meals and wellness checks to homes in a timely manner.
• Pickup meals from the program site and assist in meal packing if requested.
• Maintain route slips, timesheets, and odometer sheets accurately.
• Report safety, environmental, or social service needs to supervisor.
• Maintain sanitary environment in vehicle and clean delivery equipment as required.
• Distribute and collect donation envelopes weekly as directed.
• Adhere to Meals on Wheels policies and safety protocols.
