Job summary

Harboroaks is seeking a dedicated kitchen worker to support routine food preparation and delivery services in our facility. You will help with sanitation, proper food handling, and storage, ensuring all meals follow the approved menu and safety standards.

Responsibilities include abiding by state regulations, preparing foods from standardized recipes, and reporting any dietary concerns to the dietician or supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe or similar food safety certification required where state requires.
• Ability to follow sanitation procedures and ensure safe food handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clean up and sanitation of kitchen, dining or serving areas.
• Prepare, serve and store food in accordance with facility policies.
• Ensure compliance with state or federal regulations.
• Prepare foods according to standardized recipes and approved menu.
• Utilize service methods and food handling techniques to ensure quality.
• Understand and apply sanitation procedures to provide a safe environment.
• Adhere to menu compliance and report dietary concerns to dietician, supervisor or manager.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
