Job summary

Harboroaks is looking for a kitchen/food service worker to support daily preparation and delivery of meals in our facility. You will follow standardized recipes, assist with serving and storage, and help maintain safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires attention to dietary needs, adherence to regulations, and teamwork with dietitians and supervisors. A high school diploma is preferred, and a ServSafe or equivalent certification may be required by the state or facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe or similar food safety certification is required where state/facility policy applies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks related to clean up and sanitation of kitchen, dining or serving areas.
• Properly prepare, serve and store food in accordance with facility policies.
• Ensure compliance with state or federal regulations.
• Prepare foods according to standardized recipes and approved menu.
• Utilize service methods and food handling techniques to ensure quality.
• Understand and apply the sanitation procedures needed to provide a safe and healthy environment.
• Adhere to menu compliance, special diet compliance and report any dietary non-compliance, concern or complaint of patients to dietician, supervisor or manager.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
