Job summary

Memorial Hermann is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform radiographic mammography procedures for diagnosis and treatment. The role emphasizes safety, patient care and image quality, with normal hours Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, Texas MRT license (or temporary), ARRT-R and ARRT-M certifications, and BLS/ALS then ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or an approved Mammography program.
• Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) required.
• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS/ALS) and ARRT-R and ARRT-M.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography radiographic exams with attention to radiation safety and image quality.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, position for imaging and adjust techniques as needed.
• Enter and monitor patient data and maintain equipment QA.
• Identify and report accidents, equipment malfunctions or complaints to management.
• Provide safe, compassionate care and support department goals and standards.
