Qualifications

• Two-year college degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• NYS license in Radiologic Technology or permit and licensure within six months of employment.
• ARRT-R Certification required within six months of employment.
• Official transcript or letter confirming program completion accepted on graduation.
• Primary source education verification required within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Maintains documentation of exams and related procedures in RIS/PACS and patient charts.
• Performs screening, diagnostic, and mammographic procedures.
• Monitors image quality to ensure alignment with ACR quality standards.
• Monitors equipment for proper performance and functionality.
• Performs Mammography QA activities under supervision.
• Assists or rotates to other imaging modalities as needed.
• Pre- and post-exam duties to ensure readiness and patient safety.
