Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a part-time role. You will perform high-quality mammography exams, ensure patient comfort, and maintain accurate imaging documentation in PACS/RIS.

The position supports a flexible schedule with a Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm cadence, providing balanced clinical work and life responsibilities. You will join a collaborative radiology team, adhere to ACR/MQSA QC standards, and advance patient care through precise

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience in a hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams per physician order and protocol.
• Ensure patient identity with two identifiers and explain the exam clearly.
• Protect privacy, dignity, and comfort during positioning and transfers.
• Review images for quality and complete documentation in PACS/RIS.
• Maintain infection control, radiation safety, and QC tests as required.
• Provide pre- and post-exam instructions and support team training.
