Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree preferred; graduate of a program in discipline.
• Required WA State Radiation Operator license and ARRT certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure understanding.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within scope.
• Monitors patient condition and reports changes as appropriate.
• May assist physician with interventional procedures.
• Selects exposure factors, implements safety standards and conducts QC on equipment.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and reports issues.
• Ensures MQSA compliance and accreditation requirements.
