Job summary

Providence is seeking a Mammography Technologist for Diagnostic Radiology in a high-volume outpatient setting. The role focuses on quality breast imaging, patient care, and MQSA/FDA compliance. New grads are encouraged to apply and will undergo a 48-hour mammography training course before starting.

Candidates should have ARRT registry, Washington licensure on hire, and BLS on hire; mammography certification should be obtained within 1 year. Location-dependent radiography skills may be required.

Qualifications

• Formal radiologic technology training program meeting ARRT registry requirements.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure on hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association on hire.
• NRRT Radiography certification on hire.
• NR Mammography certification within 1 year of hire.
• Location-dependent general radiography experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures for diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
• Produce high-quality radiographic images with patient comfort in mind.
• Complete MQSA and FDA quality control activities as required.
• May utilize general radiography skills for diagnostic exams depending on location.
