Job summary

Civitas Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Red Oak, TX. The role centers on facility management, diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and coordinating preventive maintenance with the Maintenance Director.

You'll help manage parts costs, keep records, and ensure safety standards are met. Requires at least 1 year as a Maintenance Tech; HVAC, plumbing, or electrical certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1 year as a Maintenance Tech in a multifamily setting.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly in emergencies.
• HVAC/plumbing/electrical certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily walkthroughs and address malfunctions promptly.
• Provide skilled maintenance and service-request handling.
• Diagnose and repair various equipment types.
• Collaborate on parts costs and purchasing with the Maintenance Director.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance per schedules and protocols.
• Maintain records and paperwork with accuracy.
• Deliver resident-centric service with empathy and responsiveness.
• Follow safety regulations and handle chemicals safely.
