Flyland Recovery Network in Florida seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care in a substance abuse treatment setting, including detoxification and residential programs. You will work under the supervision of an RN to support withdrawal management and recovery, while ensuring HIPAA, OSHA, and Florida regulations are followed.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, administering MAT under supervision, documenting in nursing logs, and collaborating with the treatment

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Florida.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred in substance abuse, behavioral health, or psychiatric care.
• CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and crisis intervention skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and report findings to RN/Provider.
• Provide direct patient care during detoxification and throughout treatment.
• Administer medications safely, including MAT under RN/Provider guidance.
• Collect patient copays and ensure timely medication delivery.
• Adhere to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality protocols.
• Collaborate with Providers, RNs, DON, therapists, and case managers.
• Attend monthly nurses meetings and trainings.
• Monitor patient safety and participate in infection control and risk management.
• Maintain nursing logs and follow facility policies.
• Respond promptly to medical and psychiatric emergencies.
