Job summary

Beacon Recovery Center in Florida is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care in detox, residential, and outpatient programs under RN supervision. You will perform assessments, monitor withdrawal, administer MAT, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering compassionate care.

The role requires strong clinical skills, teamwork, and the ability to coordinate with an interdisciplinary treatment team. Florida LPN licensure and CPR/BLS are required; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Florida LPN license (unencumbered).
• 1–2 years nursing experience preferred in substance abuse or behavioral health.
• Knowledge of detox protocols and MAT in behavioral health nursing.
• CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and crisis intervention skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care during detox and throughout treatment.
• Administer MAT under RN/Provider direction and monitor adverse effects.
• Collect copays and ensure timely medication delivery; HIPAA compliance.
• Document nursing logs and participate in treatment planning with the team.
• Respond to medical/psychiatric emergencies and coordinate with RN/Provider.
