Job summary
North Campus in Leesburg, FL is seeking dedicated LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurses) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. We offer a competitive rate plus a $3/hr shift diff, weekly pay, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions.
Provide nursing care as prescribed and in accordance with standards of nursing practice, with opportunities to participate in education and quality improvement activities. We value compassionate care in a respectful environment.
Qualifications
- Florida LPN license is required.
- At least 1 year of Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent clinical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and maintain confidentiality.
- Professionalism with ability to work under pressure.
- Effective spoken and written English communication.
Responsibilities
- Assess and document resident progress in the medical record.
- Monitor turning and positioning of residents.
- Obtain changes in physician’s orders as indicated by progress.
- Communicate resident status to charge nurses and supervisors.
- Maintain clean, restock and organize the treatment cart.
- Follow Infection Control policies and procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Participate in educational programs for residents and families.
- Participate in Quality Improvement activities as assigned.
