Senior Living of Slingerlands in Slingerlands, NY is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Full Time Day Shift Tuesday-Saturday. The role includes direct resident care and medication administration.
You must hold an LPN license in good standing and have at least one year of experience with seniors. Compassion for the elderly is essential, and on-site availability is required.
Salary is $24.50–$28.00 per hour, based on experience.
Qualificações
- Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse with a current license in good standing.
- Minimum of one year of experience working as a nurse serving a senior population
- Compassion for and desire to work with elderly, required.
Responsabilidades
- Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed.
- Assist in monitoring the medication program.
- Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record for all residents.
- Keep all medications in their appropriate storage areas and keep medication cupboards, carts and doors always locked.
