Qualifications
- Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification is required.
- Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
- Minimum of 1–2 years nursing experience preferred.
- Experience with elderly care is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assess, communicate, and document residents' status.
- Report changes to care team and supervisors.
- Direct and supervise Resident Care Assistants' daily work.
- Mentor Lead RCA staff in job duties.
- Coordinate care with providers via case management process.
- Balance service demands with resident independence.
- Recognize and report elder abuse and safety issues.
- Respond to emergencies and call for backup when needed.
