Benchmark Senior Living in Bedford, NH is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. Full-time opportunities include Day 7a-3p, Evening 3p-11p, or Night 11p-7a or 7p-7a, with a rate of $32.75-$39/hr. You will deliver nursing care in a warm, home-like environment and supervise Resident Care Assistants.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
• Experience with elderly residents desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports changes in resident health per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and directs Lead Resident Care Assistants in their duties.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balances service with resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse or exploitation per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and uses emergency response systems appropriately.
