Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Conway, AR is seeking an LPN to provide compassionate basic medical care to residents as part of a larger medical team.

Responsibilities include medication administration, wound care, and coordinating nursing care with aides. The role requires current LPN licensure, CPR, and a preference for LTC experience, with EMR proficiency. We offer a supportive family environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold current LPN license with active status.
• CPR certification is required.
• Interest or experience in gerontological nursing preferred.
• Prefer 2 years’ experience in a long-term care setting.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for residents on the unit with nurse aide support.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in daily duties.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions and documentation.
• Administer medications and treatments per each resident’s plan.
• Know the rationale for medications and ensure correct administration.
• Perform wound care, urinary catheterization, oxygen care, and related treatments.
• Order and receive medications from the pharmacy.
• Maintain narcotics accounting and secure keys to carts/med room.
• Respond promptly to resident pain requests and document in records.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders accurately.
• Conduct nursing assessments and report status changes to physicians.
• Prepare assignment sheets considering resident safety and staff capabilities.
• Notify nursing management of shortages and contribute to team discipline/good actions.
