Qualifications

• Associates Degree/Certification or cumulative experience.
• Active unrestricted LPN license in state of clinic location.
• Phlebotomy skills are required.
• Professional appearance is essential.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand/sit for extended periods.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Adaptable in differing situations.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.
• Professionalism, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• BLS certified.

Responsabilités

• Verifies patient information by interviewing patients; recording medical history; confirming the purpose of the visit.
• Prepares patients for examination with preliminary physical tests; taking vital signs and escorting to exam room.
• Maintains patient records and ensures confidentiality and proper coding.
• Deliver overall support for Providers and clinic operations.
• Instructs patients on collection of samples and tests.
• Gives injections and administers prescribed medications per provider.
• Observes patients and reports changes in condition.
• Ensures accurate chart entries and timely chart forwarding.
• Assists with scheduling of tests and treatments.
• Arranges referrals and pre-authorizations as directed by the Provider.
• Prepares exam and treatment rooms for intake.
• Assists with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assists with minor surgeries and physicals.
• Counsels patients by transmitting physician orders and questions.
