Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services, Inc. seeks a Certified LPN to support the medical plan of care with a broad range of nursing functions, patient care, and IV therapy.

You will document in patient records and participate in teaching patients and families, ensuring age-appropriate care and collaboration with the medical team. The role requires LPN licensure, CPR certification, and an Associate Degree in Nursing, with a strong emphasis on organization and positive patient relations.

Qualifications

• Must be LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse with state licensure.
• CPR certification is required.
• Associates of Nursing is required.
• High School Diploma or GED or higher is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides a wide variety of nursing functions to support the medical plan of care in compliance with hospital/departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining patient records through daily nursing summaries, Medicare charting, acute care charting and accurate medication administration records.
• Contributes to nursing care plan.
• Provides patient/family teaching necessary for continuing care during and after discharge.
• Performs IV therapy utilizing hospital guidelines.
