Job summary

Aspen Alcove Bardstown is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide high-quality, resident-centered care in Bardstown, Kentucky. You will administer medications, monitor conditions, assist with admissions and discharges, and collaborate with doctors and CNAs to ensure safe, dignified care.

Qualifications

Current LPN/LVN license in your state
Strong clinical and patient management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle challenging situations with grace
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds and bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach
Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned

Responsibilities

Administer medications, treatments, and wound care as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and assess patient conditions and promptly report changes.
Assist in patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Provide compassionate care, ensuring patients' comfort and dignity.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Coordinate with doctors, CNAs, and other healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions.
