Job summary

Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living in Hingham, MA, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide compassionate clinical care to residents in the neighborhood. You will work within nursing standards and Erickson Senior Living policies to support residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs.

Requirements include state LPN licensure, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care.
• Licensed by State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• A passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing relationships with residents and families with a consistent caregiver approach.
• Assessing, observing, and evaluating residents' clinical condition and documenting findings in the EMR.
• Updating or modifying care plans as needed to reflect changes in care needs.
• Supervising and leading care associates.
• Administering medications timely, accurately, and according to orders.
• Participating in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Responding to residents, family, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner.
• Participating in reviews of clinical indicators such as falls, wounds, and nutrition.
• Other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader.
