Job summary

Vibra Healthcare in North Carolina is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate direct patient care in a hospital setting under the supervision of an RN or physician.

You will perform patient assessments, administer medications, document in the EHR, assist with admissions and transfers, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safety and comfort. This full-time role requires an active NC LPN license and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospital experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical skills and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician.
• Perform patient assessments and document observations and interventions accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any changes to the RN or physician.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care.
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times.
