Job summary

You will perform assessments, administer medications, document observations in the EHR, and collaborate with RNs and physicians in a fast-paced environment. A current NC LPN license and BLS are required; opportunity for growth is offered.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the State of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital experience.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).
• Strong clinical skills and sound judgment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under supervision of an RN or physician.
• Perform patient assessments and document observations and interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes to the RN or physician.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care.
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
• Maintain documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times.
