FutureCare in Maryland is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. You will assist with care plans, document care, and ensure compliance with state/federal guidelines. A Maryland LPN license and CPR certification are required; one year of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license issued in Maryland.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Current CPR license required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assist in care planning and treatments for residents.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge to care for residents on an assigned unit.
• Review medical records for compliance with guidelines.
• Document care and report changes to the shift supervisor.
• Review referrals for validity and applicability to care plans.
• Seek opportunities for professional growth and expanded responsibilities.
• Set and implement goals aligned with FutureCare's philosophy.
