Job summary

Iannarino Fullen Group is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and licensure scope.

The role involves administering medications, wound care, and various treatments, while monitoring residents' responses and communicating with the care team. A strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and teamwork is required to support resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the applicable state.
• Knowledge of geriatric nursing, pharmacology, treatment procedures, and applicable nursing regulations.
• Strong observation, assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, exercise sound judgment, and maintain professional relationships.
• Commitment to providing safe, compassionate, and resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and prescribed treatments, including wound care and catheter care.
• Monitor and report residents’ responses to medications and treatments.
• Assess residents’ needs and communicate with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete admission assessments and assist with MDS assessments, care plans, and quarterly reviews.
• Maintain accurate clinical and administrative documentation.
• Participate in shift reports, staff meetings, and QAPI program.
• Ensure medications and supplies are adequately stocked and available.
• Recognize and respond to medical emergencies and changes in residents’ condition.
