Job summary
Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina in Florence is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate, individualized care in a warm, homelike environment. You will supervise care staff, administer medications, and ensure accurate documentation while communicating with residents and families.
Required: SC LPN license and CPR certification. Weekend and holiday shifts are expected; experience in healthcare is preferred.
Qualifications
- Provide compassionate, individualized care according to residents' care plans
- Complete documentation accurately and in compliance with regulations
- Valid LPN license in the state of South Carolina
- Current CPR certification required
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, individualized care according to residents' care plans
- Perform regular rounds and monitor residents' conditions throughout the shift
- Supervise and direct other care staff
- Communicate effectively with residents and families about care updates
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Complete documentation accurately and in compliance with regulations
- Notify physicians and families of significant resident condition changes
- Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Maintain clinical competency and uphold professional standards
- Able to work weekends, holidays, and according to resident needs
