Job summary

NUWAY Alliance in Maplewood, MN is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to educate and assist clients, administer medications, and provide quality personal care. The role requires maintaining client confidentiality in line with HIPAA and state/federal guidelines.

Eligible applicants must hold a Minnesota LPN license, be 18+, have First Aid/CPR within 30 days, pass the Minnesota DHS background check, and demonstrate empathy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have a current LPN license in Minnesota.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have First Aid/CPR Certification obtained within 30 days of starting work.
• Must pass Minnesota DHS background study.
• Must be free of problematic substance use for at least two years prior to employment.
• Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
• Possess maturity, patience, understanding and empathy with recovering individuals and work with a multidisciplinary team.
• Physical Demands: Sitting for extended periods; daily use of computer and phone; lifting up to 25 pounds; bending and stooping.
• Competent computer skills and able to enter information in various systems.

Responsibilities

• Educate and assist clients in achieving and maintaining well-being through medication administration and personal care.
• Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal guidelines.
