Job summary

Logan Health is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our primary care clinic. You will collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality patient care, including assessments, treatment planning, and education in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

This role emphasizes careful patient monitoring, medication administration, and adherence to infection control and confidentiality standards while providing education to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current Montana LPN license required.
• 2+ years in a similar medical setting preferred.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire or before independent patient care.
• Knowledge of equipment, supplies and instruments used in a medical office preferred.
• Commitment to teamwork, confidentiality and high-quality patient outcomes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing duties and develop individualized care plans.
• Assist provider with examinations and procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and injections as ordered by the provider.
• Transcribe and implement provider orders accurately; problem-solve issues in patient care.
• Maintain infection control procedures and sterile technique in exam rooms.
• Collect, label, and forward specimens to designated labs.
• Provide patient education including diabetes management and nutrition guidance.
• Monitor supplies and manage inventory for assigned areas.
