Job summary

FEHE Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care in IDD residential settings in Georgia. You will administer medications, monitor health status, and coordinate follow-up with physicians and supervisors.

The ideal candidate will have an active GA LPN license, at least one year of nursing experience, CPR/First Aid, and strong documentation skills. Flexible scheduling with coverage from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Georgia.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• Working knowledge of nursing procedures, medication administration, clinical documentation, and health-monitoring practices.
• Ability to recognize and report health changes.
• Independent work with regular communication with leadership.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel among FEHE locations as assigned.
• Successful completion of background checks and related screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and compassionate nursing services per physician orders and care plans.
• Monitor vital signs, pain, skin integrity, wounds, nutrition, hydration, and health risks.
• Identify and report changes in condition to nursing leadership.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately.
• Maintain nursing notes, treatment records, and logs.
• Coordinate medical appointments and referrals.
• Communicate health instructions to DSPs and staff.
• Respond to medical emergencies and incidents.
• Participate in nursing meetings and quality-improvement activities.
• Travel among FEHE residential locations as needed.
