Job summary

DOORWAYS in Missouri is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide age-appropriate care for adult and geriatric patients, under the supervision of the RN. The role includes medication administration, IV therapy, accurate documentation, and patient and caregiver education.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited nursing program graduate, Missouri LPN license, 1–2 years IV therapy experience, and preferably exposure to long-term care or psychiatric settings; background checks and TB

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold a Missouri LPN license.
• 1–2 years of IV therapy experience with training.
• Experience in long-term care, primary care and/or psychiatric nursing is preferred.
• HIV/AIDS care experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Process orders, administer medications, perform IV therapy, and document in medical records.
• Collaborate with health professionals and update care plans as needed.
• Assist with nutrition, ostomy care, Foley catheter management, and ADLs.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and support RN with procedures.
• Handle calls, rounds, and nighttime snack duties as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
