Job summary

FutureCare in Maryland is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our compassionate team. Under the supervision of the RN, you will support care planning and treatments, and help deliver high-quality resident care on a dedicated unit.

Qualifications

Active Maryland LPN license
1 year nursing experience preferred
Experience caring for residents in acute/long-term facility a plus
Team player with strong work ethic
Current CPR license
Effective interpersonal communication with staff, residents, and families

Responsibilities

Assist in care planning and treatments under RN supervision
Demonstrate basic nursing skills for resident care on assigned unit
Review resident records to ensure compliance with state/federal guidelines
Document care and report changes to shift supervisor
Review referrals for consultation or treatment for validity
Pursue growth opportunities to maintain competency and align with FutureCare philosophy
