Job summary
BrightStar Care is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate home health care to clients in their homes across the region. You’ll join a supportive team dedicated to high-quality care and positive outcomes for patients and families.
Role involves administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with daily living activities, and coordinating with RNs and other professionals. Flexible scheduling and performance bonuses are available.
Qualifications
- Active and valid LPN license in Massachusetts.
- Minimum 1 year of home health or related healthcare experience.
- Current BLS certification and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments per providers.
- Monitor vital signs and overall health status.
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, meals).
- Educate patients and families on care plans.
- Coordinate with RNs, therapists, physicians, and other staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation using EHR systems.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Follow safety and health regulations in home care.
