MeCare Staffing seeks compassionate LPNs to provide high-quality care in NH LTC and Assisted Living settings. You will support residents’ daily needs, ensuring comfort and safety while adhering to care plans and facility protocols.

We value commitment to elder care, accurate documentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Eligible applicants hold NH or compact licensure and have prior LTC exposure.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in NH or compact license.
• At least 6 months of LPN experience.
• Previous LTC/Assisted Living experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer patient care while respecting rights, privacy, and cultural beliefs.
• Assess, plan, and implement age-specific care for patients.
• Safely administer medications and treatments under proper protocols.
• Confirm patient identity using two identifiers to ensure accurate care.
• Monitor patient needs, document progress, and report any changes.
• Assist with personal care, medical procedures, and respond to emergencies.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and continuing care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve patient care goals.
• Adhere to universal precautions and infection control protocols.
• Observe and document patient responses to treatments and adjust care plans as needed.
• Prepare patients for continuing care and guide them for post-treatment needs.
