Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking an LPN to provide direct patient care under RN supervision in Temple, TX. The role supports interdisciplinary care planning and administers treatments tailored to patient needs within an acute care environment.

Candidates should have an accredited LPN program credential, CPR/BLS, and preferably 6 months of Medical/Surgical experience. This position emphasizes safety, education, and ongoing patient-centered care across the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
• CPR/BLS certification required; IV Certification highly preferred or must be obtained within 6 months.
• Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately per patient age and condition.
• Assist the RN with initial assessments and patient reassessments.
• Identify and implement rehabilitation nursing interventions.
• Perform Quality Improvement assessments under RN supervision.
• Provide patient education and contribute to the interdisciplinary care plan.
• Deliver care that promotes patient safety and reduces medical errors.
