Job summary
Countryside Mental Health in Kansas seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents in our facility. The LPN must follow federal, state, and local standards and report to the Nursing Director or Unit Manager. Qualifications
Must hold a valid LPN license in good standing.
Current CPR certification required.
Basic computer skills and ability to read, write, and understand English.
Ability to work beyond normal hours including weekends and holidays.
Ability to lift and transfer residents safely.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with standards.
Follow facility policies and report abuse/neglect immediately.
Assist with admissions, discharges, and daily hygiene.
Monitor resident condition and document changes.
Administer treatments such as catheterization, dressings, and blood draws.
Complete charting and administrative duties.
Coordinate with care team to ensure plan effectiveness.
Assist with emergency evacuations as needed.
