Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the development and maintenance of a current, individualized plan of care and consults with other health professionals to assure patient needs are met.
• Observes, assesses, documents, and reports patient response to treatments and teaching, adjusting care priorities as needed.
• Participates in unit/department activities to improve outcomes and support staff education.
• Provides a broad range of nursing treatments and therapies and assists physicians with procedures as required.
• Assists patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
• Provides support and de-escalation for anxious or at-risk patients and facilitates coping strategies.
