Job summary

Drh-Health-1 is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate, evidence-based care under the direction of an RN or physician. You will administer medications, monitor patients, and collaborate with the care team to support safe, efficient care across units. Qualifications include graduation from an LPN program, an active Oklahoma license, and BLS certification.

NIHSS is preferred. Candidates must meet safety-sensitive requirements and pass background checks as part of DRH

Qualifications

• Graduate of an LPN program.
• Current, unencumbered LPN license in Oklahoma.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required; NIHSS preferred.
• Advanced fingerprint background checks are required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of an RN, contribute to the nursing process (planning, interventions, evaluation).
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs and multidisciplinary team members.
• Identify patient care needs and provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support.
• Administer medications and treatments prescribed by qualified personnel.
• Maintain infection control, ensure safe medication handling and storage.
• Document care timely and accurately and protect patient confidentiality.
• Delegate safe tasks and adapt care to patient age, culture, and needs.
• Ensure equipment operated safely and verify preventive maintenance.
• Engage in continuing education and participate in team problem-solving.
• Meet safety-sensitive requirements and comply with DRH policies.
