Job summary

US Urology Partners in New York is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide administrative and clinical support to clinicians. You will manage patient schedules, assist with procedures, and maintain EMR documentation with weight, vitals, and updates.

The role requires successful completion of an accredited LPN program, a current state license, and CPR certification, with 1+ year medical/surgical experience preferred. Travel to other clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Current state LPN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1+ year medical/surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage provider patient schedules throughout the day.
• Handle medication/script line and redirect to RN/PA/NP or provider as needed.
• Complete company training and in-services including OSHA training and PPD placements.
• Prepare room and equipment for office procedures and assist with clinical care.
• Greet patients by full name and birthdate and escort to the exam room.
• Update EMR with weight, vitals, meds, and medical updates for provider review.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions within scope of practice.
• Maintain OSHA compliance knowledge and report adverse medication events.
• Travel to other clinics as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
